• Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password (stored in hashed form).
• Inventory data you upload. We process the spreadsheet and CSV files you submit (Inventory Detail and CRM Slow Moving exports) solely to generate your inventory health snapshots. We do not sell, share, or use this data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
• Usage data. We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration, to improve reliability and performance.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers collected automatically when you access the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process your inventory uploads and generate health snapshots
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• Respond to support requests and inquiries
• Monitor and improve the performance and security of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your inventory data for advertising, benchmarking against other customers, or any purpose beyond operating the Service for your account.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in to the Service.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded inventory files are retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support your access to historical snapshots. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

6. Third-Party Services

Velturn may use the following categories of third-party services to operate:

• Cloud hosting. Our servers and storage are hosted on a reputable cloud infrastructure provider. Your data is stored in encrypted form at rest and in transit.
• Email delivery. We use a transactional email service to send account-related emails. We do not share your email address with this provider for any purpose other than delivery.
• Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns. These tools do not receive your inventory data or personal identifiable information beyond anonymized usage events.

We do not sell your data to third parties under any circumstances.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls limiting who can view uploaded data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information.
